Bee pollen contains all the essential components of life. The percentage of rejuvenating elements in bee pollen remarkably exceeds those present in brewer's yeast and wheat germ. Bee pollen corrects the deficient or unbalanced nutrition common in the customs of our present-day civilization of consuming incomplete foods, often with added chemical ingredients, which expose us to physiological problems as various as they are numerous. Because bee pollen contains all the nutrients needed to sustain life, it is being used on an ever-larger scale for human nourishment and health. Bee-gathered pollens are rich in proteins, free amino acids, and vitamins, including B-complex and folic acid. Bee pollen is richer in proteins than any animal source. It contains more amino acids than beef, eggs, or cheese of equal weight. Bee pollen is particularly concentrated in all elements necessary for life.

How to Start Taking Bee Pollen Step

Step 1) Test to make sure you are not allergic. Evaluate sensitivity by ingesting a single bee pollen pellet, and monitoring for signs and symptoms of intolerance. Step 2) Increase your bee pollen intake gradually. Start with a granule or two of bee pollen daily and gradually build your consumption to about one tablespoon per day. Depending on your body weight and previous health history, the amount of bee pollen needed to provide optimal health benefits may vary.

Heating pollen granules can denature the active enzyme and limit its nutrient value.

Recipe Recommendations

1) Use granules as a topping over yogurt or cereal.

2) Add ground bee pollen to cooling homemade granola while it is still moist and sticky.

3) Blend ground pollen or granules into a smoothie.

4) Incorporate into raw protein bars, raw desserts or candies.

5) Sprinkle granules directly over salad or incorporate ground pollen into salad dressing such as a honey mustard.

6) Sprinkle ground pollen over popcorn.

7) Use ground pollen as a coating for sugared almonds or hazelnuts.

8) Toast whole wheat bread, smear with chocolate hazelnut spread and sprinkle with bee pollen granules.
